What to wear for your Senior PicturesNot sure what to wear for your senior pictures? Questioning what to bring?
Bring all of it! I want you to feel amazing! I want you to bring what screams "YOU". With so many styles, colors and patterns that I'm sure you have in your closet (I know, because I do too!), it can be overwhelming to think about just one or 2 outfits for your senior pictures. So because it may be a little unrealistic to bring ALL of your closet with you, lets narrow it down a bit with a couple helpful tips. 1) Lets start with style. Are you a dress person? Maybe you're a jeans and t-shirt kind of person. Maybe you love fashion and you love to wear the hottest new trends from your favorite boutique. Whichever style trips your trigger, bring that. What says you? Are you sassy, bold, carefree? As you go through possible outfits, have those kinds of words in your mind of who you want to portray in your portraits (who you are). The best way to feel comfortable and look comfortable in your senior pictures, is to wear what you are most comfortable wearing! If you hate wearing dresses... don't bring a dress (unless mom or dad really wants one with you in a dress! We can handle that, right?).
2) SHOES. Yes... shoes. I've met both. Those who have a pair of shoes to match every outfit they have, and those who have what they need to get by. Some of us have a couple pairs of dress type shoes and a couple flip flops and sneakers. Think once again about comfort. Also, keep in mind WHERE we are doing your senior pictures. If we're going to be romping through the woods, high heels may not be the best. Now before you say that you want woodsy pictures but also want to wear high heels, but you just said no... there's a way around that. Just bring a pair of shoes to walk in with and we can swap your shoes for your portraits =). 3) Let's chat about color. This isn't something that a lot of people think about, but color really matters in your pictures! For example... if you wear really bright neon colors, in certain conditions, that color can cast onto your face. No one wants a neon green face in their senior pictures... trust me. If you do have bright colors you want to wear, bring them! We can mix and match and find something that will work. This goes for patterns as well. If you are not sure if a certain pattern will work or maybe make you blend into your surroundings too much, feel free to bring it and we can try it out! If you are still struggling with what to wear, call me! I'll help you out! See you this spring for your senior pictures =) ~Stacy~
